This heating cable is equipped with an integrated thermostat located at the end of the cable and is specifically designed for mounting on the outside of heat exchangers in outdoor parts of air source heat pumps. The cable effectively prevents ice formation that can occur during e.g. snowfall or humid weather. The product is easy to install and comes with a pre-assembled rubber grommet for tight sealing in sheet metal or plastic.
