Description

Article no.: 7007235

This 5 meter heating cable is designed to protect drainage hoses and plastic pipes for condensate drainage from freezing. With an integrated thermostat between the hot and cold cable, the heating automatically turns on at +2°C and off at +8°C, providing energy-efficient operation and safe frost protection.

The cable is easily connected to an earthed wall socket via the pre-assembled plug and should always be used in conjunction with an RCD. It is strong yet soft and flexible, making installation easy even in confined spaces. A fitted rubber grommet simplifies sealing at penetrations. The heating cable must not be used in pressurized water systems.

Protection capacity:

  • Capable of keeping a 19 mm hose with 6 mm insulation frost-free down to -35 °C
  • Can keep a 25 mm hose with the same insulation frost-free down to -28 °C

Advantages of heating cable 5 m:

  • Integrated thermostat between hot and cold cable
  • Quick and easy installation with plug
  • Suitable for external installation in drain hose or plastic pipe
  • CE and REACH approved
  • IPX7 protection class - resistant to moisture and weather
  • Fitted rubber grommet for secure sealing
  • Power: 15 W/m, total length 5 m hot section + 2 m cold cable

Technical specification:

  • Cable diameter: Ø6 mm (end sleeve Ø8.1 mm)
  • Power: 15 W/m, 230 V
  • Thermostat activates at +2 °C and switches off at +8 °C (max deviation ±1.5 °C)
