This flexible heating cable is equipped with an integrated thermostat placed between the hot and cold cable. It is designed for installation in drainage hoses or plastic pipes that carry away condensation water from, for example, heat pumps. The cable is easily connected via a pre-assembled plug directly to an earthed wall socket - preferably via an RCD.
The cable has a fixed rubber grommet for easy sealing through plastic or sheet metal. The product is not intended for use in pressurized water systems.
When installed externally, the cable provides frost protection down to:
- -35 °C in 19 mm hose with 6 mm insulation
- -28 °C in 25 mm hose with 6 mm insulation
